MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to Hopewell - Loudon Jr/Sr High School’s official website! As you can see, our website is full of information designed to help answer your questions, provide you access to the school’s calendar, HL sporting event schedules and updates, a directory of our faculty, online grades, and much more.

 

Hopewell Loudon Jr/Sr High School has a student enrollment of approximately 400 students and our students who desire a technical education, attend the Sentinel Career Center. Our rich and diverse curriculum offers a variety of courses to all students. Hopewell Loudon prides itself on being a leader in technology, as we utilize one to one Chromebook devices, which places technology directly in each student’s hands. Teachers have integrated this tool into the classroom, energizing the way students learn.

 

From staff to students, our building is filled everyday with engaging minds, high expectations, and a commitment to excellence. Our experienced and dedicated staff members, of which 79% of our teachers hold a Master’s or higher degree, routinely lead our students to excellence in academics and extracurricular programs.  Our band and choir programs are continuously rated as superior in the State of Ohio and continue to build their programs each year.  

 

We also excel in athletic competition, with regular appearances at the top of the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division and at state tournament levels for our football, golf, wrestling, volleyball, track, basketball, baseball, softball, and cross-country teams. In short, no matter what a student’s individual interests may be, there is a place for them at Hopewell Loudon Jr/Sr High School where they can take part in well-organized, high-level competition and performance!
